is a student representative who participates in the work of the Dean's Collegium, the Faculty Council and the Education and Science Council, as provided in the Statute of the Faculty, when issues of student interest are considered. Student Vice Dean proposes measures to improve student standards and monitors the situation in this area, coordinates the work of students in extracurricular activities, coordinates the work of student organizations at the Faculty, performs other tasks related to student issues.
The Student Vice Dean is elected by the Faculty Council, at the proposal of the Student Parliament of the Faculty, by a majority vote of the total number of members for a period of one school year. The Student Vice Dean is dismissed by the Faculty Council on the proposal of the Dean or the Student Parliament.

Student Parliament of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering
The Student Parliament is the official body of the faculty that deals with student issues and solving all student problems, protecting student rights, improving student standards, organizing and implementing extracurricular activities, achieving student interfaculty and international cooperation, etc. Representatives of the student parliament have the right to attend the sessions of the Education and Science Council of the faculty. The faculty is obliged to provide appropriate premises and other necessary conditions for the work of the Student Parliament.
The first Student Parliament of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering was constituted in December 2006. It has 15 members from the ranks of students. The mandate of the members of the Student Parliament is one year, and the elections will be held in April. The Student Parliament nominates the Student Vice Dean and delegates student representatives to the Faculty Council, the Education and Science Council and various committees dealing with student issues. The seat of the Student Parliament of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering is in the room 227 on the second floor of the Faculty building.
